Skype calls the contact.You can choose to make free video or audio calls to one contact or multiple contacts at once. Choose from three options to start a Skype conversation with a contact:

Choose the phone number.This is different from calling a contact on Skype, which is free. You're not actually calling someone's Skype, you're calling someone's phone number, which may be connected to a landline or mobile phone. Depending on the region you are calling to, connection charges may also apply. Call via Skype:
- Make sure you have enough credit or buy a Skype calling subscription. If you don't have enough Skype credit, click the button below your display name in the top left corner to add credit to your account. Or buy a subscription on the website.
- Click the keypad icon in the top left corner of the window. It's next to the search bar under your name. This will open a phone number block on the screen.
- Choose this number. You may need to add a country code. This is done simply by clicking the down arrow next to the country at the top of the window.
- Press the "Call" button to start a call.
